LDF Series Fireplaces

Hypnotic, linear flames are the focus of the LDF Series flush, direct-vent gas fireplaces. Zero-clearance landscape-style units enable you to enjoy the warmth and drama of a truly contemporary hearth just about anywhere you choose: frame it in the wall for a serene minimalist look, make a commanding hearth of marble or stone, or install it into an existing wood fireplace to convert it into a more efficient heat source. 

The LDF fireplaces come with a bed of multi-textured glass pebbles (in white, silver, and opaque) that reflect and refract the light from the flickering flames. Also available in black onyx or ceramic “beach stones”. See below:

Currently available in three sizes:

L38DF: Measures 29-1/2” h x 37-3/4” w x 18-1/2”d. Glass window size is 34-3/4” w 18-1/4” h. 25,000 BTUs. Also available as a see-through model!      Manual     See-through Manual

The user-friendly snap lock door swings forward to allow tool-free access to the firebox when necessary. Other practical pluses: electronic ignition, millivolt control to allow continuous operation even during a power failure, and a 100% fail-safe shut-off valve.

Optional surrounds are available for each of the 3 sizes in either matte black or stainless steel (shown at left).

All models come in either natural gas or propane. Single sided are available with top or rear vent, and see-through models are top vent only. Optional fireplace fan is also available. Remote control is included. For further specifications refer to the LDF Catalog.

The beauty of the R Series (like the LDF Series) is enhanced with their long, linear gas ribbon flames that dance around the glass fire stones. These built-in fireplaces  incorporate the distinct frameless design which enables a variety of possibilities for installation over the edge of the firebox.

Specifically designed for residential use, these zero-clearance, linear fireplaces provide an unobstructed view of the flickering flames and the unique door design permits easy access to the firebox.

The R-series is available in single sided or see-through models with various linear contemporary burner accessories, a digital thermostat and a 100% fail-safe shut-off valve. Both can be used with natural gas or liquid propane. The see-through model has an additional indoor/outdoor sealing kit for exterior wall installation and can be utilized for indoor/outdoor living spaces.
